First impressions of Lagos?

A heavy shower in the afternoon floods the streets on Victoria Island. The raods are un-crossable without a good drench, but this doesn’t affect the buzz of Lagos traffic. Trucks, motorbikes, a man with a wagon, continue to criss-cross the intersection, all of 'em half underwater.

Three women hop onto a motorbike, hike up their batik dresses and just plough through the river, shooting up water in a big V. Unphased, totally unstoppable.
